Just a quick note

Alhamdulillah just before Ramadaan began, the ever awesome Muslimah Blogger site announced the winners of their annual blogging awards, and I was ever so surprised that my humble little corner of the blogosphere had received such an incredible accolade!

Raising Young Believers won in the Parenting/education category! Subhanallah this is such an honour when one thinks of the calibre of Muslim parenting blogs out there at the moment.

So to each and every one of you who take the time to read my thoughts, post comments, share these articles, and especially those who voted for me, I hereby extend my heartfelt gratitude. A hundred times over, thank you 💙

This parenting journey has been overwhelming at times, beyond blissful in moments, a steep learning curve, a challenge, a blessed joy, and everything in between. It’s really heartwarming to know that despite everything that may separate us, I’ve come to learn, that  mothers in general are united in their difficulties and celebrations, and their desire and wants for their children are universal. The series I’ve done on Global Muslim Mummies really highlighted this.

I’d also just like to mention my gratitude to Muslimah Bloggers for always being such a positive community, so supportive and helpful!
